The M2 metro station with main ticket office by Bernard Tschumi, Luca Merlini, and Emmanuel Ventura opened in 2008. The roof and west wall are covered in a green carpet of plantings. The elevators and the glass-enclosed bridge (passerelle du Flon) in the background by Bernard Tschumi and Luca Merlini opened in 2001.
