The Naviglio Grande is a canal, joining the Ticino river to the Darsena (Porta Ticinese dock) in Milan. The whole canal was navigable from 1272. Today it has lost almost all its commercial value. Ripa di Porta Ticinese is on the left, alzaia Naviglio Grande is on the right of the canal.
