The “Fabrique de montres aux Billodes” (watch factory at les Billodes, later renamed Zénith) was founded by Georges Favre-Jacot in 1865. Zénith was taken over by the French luxury group LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton SA in 1999.
