The Hostellerie Rigi was designed by Justus Dahinden (1925-2020) and opened in 1966 at the site of the former Grand Hotel Rigi Kaltbad which was destroyed by arson fire in 1961. The recladded building was reopened under the name Hotel Rigi Kaltbad in 2012. Metal sculpture by Sven Knebel.
